What is a Box Break?

A Box Break is an exciting way to collect football (soccer) trading cards together with other fans. Instead of buying a full sealed box yourself, you purchase a spot in the break. During the break, a sealed box of football cards is opened live, and all the cards are divided among the participants.

How it works:

  • Buy a spot for your favorite team or in a random draw.

  • Watch live as the football box is opened.

  • Get your cards – your selected/assinged spot. this can be a full team or only a selection of players.

This way, you can chase rare hits, rookies, and autographs from your favorite players at a fraction of the cost, while enjoying the fun of a live community experience.

 

The Two Types of Breaks

In our football box breaks, there are two main formats you can join:

1. Random Team Break (RTB)

In a Random Team Break, all participants buy a spot and teams are assigned randomly before the break starts. You don’t know which team you’ll get until the random draw is done, which makes it extra exciting. All cards from your assigned team(s) will be shipped to you.

2. Pick Your Team / Pick Your Player (PYT/PYP)

In a Pick Your Team or Pick Your Player break, you choose your favorite team or player when buying your spot. That way, you’re guaranteed to receive all the cards of your selected team or player once the box is opened.

Both formats give you the chance to pull rare hits, autographs, and rookie cards – it just depends whether you like the thrill of randomness (RTB) or the certainty of choosing your own team/player (PYT/PYP).

 

You’ve Joined a Break, What’s Next?

After you’ve joined a break and your cards have been pulled, they won’t be shipped out automatically. To receive your cards, you’ll need to place a Shipping Request on our website.

You have two options:

  • Request shipping right away – we’ll carefully pack and ship your cards to you.

  • Wait before requesting shipping – this way, you can join multiple breaks and combine your cards in one shipment, saving on shipping costs.

In the meantime, we safely store all your cards until you decide to request shipping.
